Erectile Dysfunction Radio Podcast
Testosterone is often called the “male hormone” for a reason—it plays a crucial role in overall health, sexual function, and well-being. Produced primarily in the testicles, testosterone is responsible for puberty changes, maintaining energy, muscle growth, libido, and even mental health. As men age, testosterone levels naturally decline, with about 10-40% of men over 40 experiencing symptoms of low testosterone (low T). These symptoms include fatigue, reduced sex drive, mood swings, loss of muscle mass, weight gain, and even fertility issues. Factors like stress, obesity, poor diet, drug use, and exposure to environmental toxins such as microplastics can also contribute to low T levels.
